THE STORY

The Cluster is located in North Kivu, Goma. A region that is increasingly hosting displaced people from the ongoing conflict.

With the population rapidly increasing, diseases are on the rise and access to food and healthcare has been limited.  The Cluster came together to raise awareness and share their strengths and skills to improve their health and wellbeing.

WHAT THEY'RE DOING

Educating the

community

Through awareness campaigns, the community is learning about food security, conflict management, community development and more.

Promoting healthy affordable eating

Their chicken farming has brought a stable source of protein and their 'One Plot One Garden' program has seen them create simple vegetable gardens with the little space they have.
